Funeral Ceremonies

My role as a Celebrant is to support you, your family or circle of concern, to create the ceremony to honour and reflect the loss and the life passed.

Ceremonies can include elements of a wide range of beliefs including semi-religious or spiritual. What is important is finding the right tone and feeling supported.

Loss involves transitions and can lead to a recalibration of relationships. Honouring life and death is part of the healing process and we can work together to create a unique ceremony.

Rememberance ceremonies, memorials, ashes interment and pet funerals are also available.

As a Funeral Celebrant I can be contacted directly or recommended through Funeral Services.

What to expect?

Touching base

Following an initial phone call to understand what has lead to a funeral we will arrange our first digital or in-person meeting. This offers an opportunity to discuss the tone and running order of the ceremony, incorporating elements like music, poems, readings, and tribute contributions. Whether you choose a woodland, meadow, chapel, or crematorium as the venue, we can ensure that all details are correct and the ceremony's tone is just right.

Your Celebrant

Throughout this planning process, I will be your dedicated support, helping you navigate through the complexities and emotions of this time. Together, we can create a heartfelt ceremony.

Collaborative Approach

Let's work together. With your wishes and my guidance and resources, we can craft a touching tribute.

Bereavement support services

As a Celebrant I have direct links with services such as Obitus that offer music, visual tributes, streaming options, and keepsakes. Spotify playlists, portable speakers and bespoke services can also be arranged. This allows friends and family to join from afar and ensure that cherished memories are shared.

Should you require it, I have access to a trusted, professional printing service who provide personalised Celebration of Life booklets, often referred to as an Order of Service.

Yesterday's service was magnificent and just as I had hoped it would be. Not only that, but the weather was perfect too! The fact that it was so successful was in no small part due to you. You easily understood our family's expectations and your suggestions about order etc were invaluable. Your manner and voice are so calm and I had confidence that I could get through it with your help. It is an exceptional gift and many friends from yesterday have commented on your presence and how perfect the day was.
